(no subject)

Yesterday was the day we had planned on to celebrate Grandpa Bob's birthday. I let OKAYdesign know the day before that I would not be around to pay for or critique anything, and was told in turn that their office would be closed anyway for Easter Sunday. What a coincidence; Easter here was last Sunday.

Not much happened at the house. Cousin Adam brought up the issue of anime, saying that someone suggested he get into Naruto. I told him I'm not really into that show, but did go on to suggest Lucky Star and Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and he promised to let me know when he finishes it before I set him up with any of my fanfiction.

For his birthday, Mom and I gave Grandpa this coffee mug that Mom found at Savers a few months ago and meant originally for Christmas. Basically, it features these two mugshots of Miss Piggy, with the word "Wanted" crossed out and replaced in a fancy font with "Desired". (Mom had told me when we bought it that he used to love The Muppet Show, and would crack up at her antics in particular.)
