Mom brought home a newspaper the other day, and it had a bunch of new games inside along with the few it's always had. One of them is called PLAY4, where you're given clues for four four-letter words to mingle across and down each. I filled it right in, and the bottom one across, with the clue "Slight," seemed to be "Slut." That didn't seem right for obvious reasons, but to begin with, the rightmost one down had the clue "Fight", and I put down "Spat," like a dispute. Everything else fit right into place, but when I showed Mom while eating dinner later, the actual answers were on the very next page, and the correct words were "Slur" and "Spar" respectively.
