(no subject)

After a lot of consideration, I have decided just to commission outright for Unwilling Service. With Jake off the project, I barely actually think about it anymore, but after having already abandoned it once only to revive it later for reasons I never expected, I cannot trust myself just to let go of it altogether for real. (Admittedly, part of it also has to do with how interesting various ideas I had for it were, although that was also once true for that Digimon story that I never did start and haven't thought about for years.)

Right now, especially with my focus back on Starbound, I'm thinking that, once I have a better template than the games themselves, I might actually have the drive back then to revise everything on my terms, and then find someone who can re-revise everything and add new content on top for the finalized version to be hosted online.

Now that that rules out any reason to hold a contest for new content, in favor of a regular job posting, I went on to ask Brian if he expects to come home in the foreseeable future. He actually specified Saturday this new week, so obviously, I'm not gonna have enough time to finish my Mother 3 walkthrough. I asked that he just bring back Mother 1+2 to play on my Nintendo DS, and also offered to set him up with Earthbound's Halloween hack.

Took some time to clear my head before posting to Freelancer, but only four people have applied so far, none of whom qualify. Still playing Mother 3 just to keep myself busy, but it's been fun so far anyway.
