Yesterday, Dad thought he might have locked the cat inside the apartment by accident the previous night, and had me look there and around the yards and down the streets for her. It soon turned out that she was in Marie's room the whole time, where she does like to sleep on her bed.

I later told Mom after she came home from work, and it reminded her of this one time they remember only too well, when I was a baby, they thought I had wandered out into the neighborhood and had to alert everyone to watch out for me, but I turned out to have been in my crib the whole time.
