Two days ago, Mom took the car for a test drive to Riverhead, after Dad had its wheels off for a whole week to fix the brakes. I went with her mainly to get out of the house, just to mark time in order to avoid defaulting to any video games (lest I gravitate towards that each following morning when I'm supposed to write) while I'm unable to do any more writing for the day. Unfortunately, the brakes were still squeaky.

Mom dropped me off at Panera Bread before doing some shopping at Costco, and I made my way over there after eating. Just before arriving there, I noticed one in a line of sprinklers shooting water upwards instead of onto the grass it was supposed to, and went to Ulta the building most directly behind them, to report it and have it relayed to whoever installed them, before crossing the parking lot to Costco (which I had noticed from before entering).
