Sep. 23rd, 2018 06:37 amMarie and I ate lunch out at Panera Bread. I had a hard time deciding on a main course, until choosing a chicken avocado melt. I don't even like avocados, and managed to extract a few slices as I ate, which Marie then took for herself.
Honestly, I think I'm pretty much done with Panera Bread at this point.

At some point after we came back home, Marie drove me and Mom to this place called Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge, for National Public Lands Day that Mom found out about from an email she receives. Walked the trail, saw various things, talked about this and that, picked up two large feathers we found along the way, and also got a view of the Carmans River from this pier back near the parking lot. Marie and I saw this small bird that Mom specified as a catbird, and we also saw what might have been cormorants, five lined up in another tree.
