Brian had to postpone his trip here multiple times due to work to catch up on, before finally boarding a train at 1:40 yesterday and arriving at Port Jefferson by ferry at 7.

On the plus side, he did buy me a ticket back up to Boston, after having somehow rented an SUV with which to pick up a coffee table (he met me on foot after I left the car to look out for him, so maybe he paid rent in advance somewhere; I dunno).
