Oct. 2nd, 2018 06:02 amBrian took the car to Google yesterday, and had me come with him so that he could let someone know who I am for whenever I need to meet up with him. He then sent me back to the apartment, asking me to come back at 4:30 but eventually cancelling that.
For dinner, the two of us agreed to eat out while I'm still here and can take advantage of the various restaurants around here. I originally suggested Tikka Masala, but then he told me about this other Indian place called Punjab, and we went there but not before driving first to his friend Arvind's, who happens to be Indian.
When we arrived, Arvind had an episode of Game of Thrones running on his TV. Some discussion with me during our time there, I mentioned not being so much into literature or anything lifelike and being a lot more into anime et al, with specific style preferences for female characters as far as anime itself goes. (With games, I'm more open to any style that's still anime-like.)
He asked for an example, and having already mentioned Starbound in relation to those files I still need to show Brian, I suggested Lucky Star. He played that, and before we left, I also went on to recommend he check out Puella Magi Madoka Magica, spelling the title out on a scrap of paper.
On to dinner, we both ordered some goat curry, but the meat still had the bones still stuck on it. I get that including bones in goatmeat is a tradition that these places try to preserve, but I seem to recall them being just mixed in when my family and I ate out at Minerva's the night before Marie's college graduation.
