Dec. 25th, 2018 03:44 amMom and I went to Target for some stuff yesterday, but she eventually decided that that will be the last time she go to that store, given how nearly impossible it is to find anything anymore after everything was shifted around.
When we got back home, Brian and Marie were watching some Michael Jackson concert on YouTube, and I joined them. I then asked Brian if we could discuss Starbound more in depth from an email he sent me, and Marie offered to help out, but declined to watch Lucky Star or read the fic first. Normally, I would want those helping me to understand the source material and what's actually going on so far, but then they went out somewhere and Mom suggested I let her in on things anyway, considering how her job involves traveling to different places.
I wrote up a notebook entry for Brian and Marie each before they got back. Marie took her turn first, but Brian would take his later still. Basically, Marie suggested I write down all the main points, and used Cinderella as an example with five. She and Brian went out somewhere else, and I wrote down on a legal pad (my current notebook only had two empty pages left) the deal with both Earthbound and Starbound. For the former, I only wrote one paragraph citing Ness's three friends and the eight Sanctuary locations as the main plot points, with everything else on a secondary basis. For the latter, though, I managed to list a total of 23 plot points, but that's speaking for the story as a whole, which is gonna be pretty long.
Moving on, I did try talking to Brian, but he basically refused to discuss the story any further, urging me just to get started and see what comes of anything first whenever I get around to doing so.

Even though I lost the spoons to see Getter Love!!'s 20th-anniversary marathon the rest of the way through (why did I have to fuck up like that now of all times? Would have made an exception and started the day over if I used or even had a working memory pak.), here is something to still end the event itself on a bang with:
