May. 3rd, 2019 07:40 amTaking Friday last week off from writing would've been a bad idea, if not for what has started to pan out just yesterday.
So far, I have found myself barely doing any writing this whole past week, doing research here and there but also pretty distracted with my gaming plans. I had decided that I would finally get around to playing Super Paper Mario once I reach an appropriate ending point for the chapter, while I give things a chance to pan out with Food Fantasy. That then began weighing on my mind, but then someone on Freelancer gave me a modded APK.
So far, most of it is still in English, but the battle criteria is back in Japanese. Even though that's not what I'm looking for, it does indicate a lack of anything in place to revert his work or block the game altogether.
He also recommended a program called TeamViewer to me, and I was able to see both versions of the game that he was working with and take some screenshots of what I am seeking to fix up. (I actually recall someone using something similar before on our main computer.)
With this, I think I might just postpone SPM further still and do what more I can with the chapter for a few more days while Yong Wen J. does his thing.
(I also found out on Tumblr that Magia Record is actually due for release in North America this summer. Given how popular it is, I'm not all that surprised, even though this is the first Madoka game to date to be slated for the west. However, this could not have been timed any worse for me. In a few years, it would be a good cue for me to finally return to the Cibus project, but right now, I would like just to give the franchise itself a rest in order to eventually come back fresh to it, just like with Pokemon right now and Lucky Star for a few years until last.)
