Aug. 2nd, 2019 03:27 amReached player level 40 in Food Fantasy and unlocked artifacts yesterday morning. For some reason, while there are plenty of Food Souls overall who officially have an artifact, only a select few that I have are or would be eligible w/ two stars. I brought this up w/ the Facebook rep, listing a whole two thirds of my party who wield something that clearly could qualify as an artifact, and she offered to address this with the dev team. I went on to suggest various other changes to the game, as well as scouring the wiki's Food Soul page for others who should have some (several dozen more).
What I mean is, such Food Souls as Tom Yum, Black Tea, Brownie, Red Wine, and Bamboo Rice have their very weapons as their respective artifacts, while others who do wield weapons don't have even those as an artifact. Meanwhile, Long Bao is one of various who wields something other than a weapon proper (in his case, a teacup).
There are already other things I deem wrong with the game, but for the most part, I felt that I could roll with those well enough. Forget censorship, this is a huge waste of potential of such an interesting concept, and while other parts of the game are also inconsistent to some extent, this goes too far, and I'm just not buying it.
With that, I'm clocking out early, and I'm gonna take a few days to get back into writing, and will probably try out Magia Record next time I burn out. Expand that whole feature to quite a few more Food Souls, and I might consider giving the game yet another chance then. (WaniKani can still wait, though, in case I end up working for Mom on more days still than just today, and since Brian and Marie will be here for a week late just this month.)
(If certain things do in fact change in the game, then I will probably spend my tips more freely, purchase the third delivery bike first chance I get, and withhold the crystals I spent on Fallen Angel purification slots and the fourth Food Soul team slot for until I unlock a feature at level 30 that asks you to spend them but only counts those you spend after unlocking.)

Mom had yesterday off from work due to a doctor's appointment Dad had in the morning. She and I went to Costco later on, and I agreed to meet her in the furniture section where I'd sit down in an armchair. I noticed some body pillows, and asked Mom if we could get one to replace mine that was already getting worn out. We looked at them, and she commented on how they feel sort of like the cat. I replied that while they are nice and silky, they're not so squishy like the cat. She said they feel that way, but I specified how the cat provides counter-pressure when you press her against your face. She said that this would still be a better choice since cats don't like that, but she was the one who compared the two in the first place.

Coming off from earlier yesterday, I joined a fan group for Magia Record on Facebook, to ask if there was anyone I could speak to particularly about the four Puellae Magi from The Hollow Little Mermaid. I had already brought that up with that game's Facebook rep, but never heard back, but someone in the group suggested I find one of its Japanese reps, to speak to in Japanese, and I will have to look into hiring a translator on Upwork.
If things go well enough, I might go on to ask about Pia as well, and to ask why different forms of certain characters are treated as separate units, as opposed to separate skins like in Food Fantasy. Maybe I'll even ask if I could get in touch with Urobuchi himself.
