Sep. 2nd, 2019 05:34 pmHaving had it on mind for several weeks now, it seems likely that I will simply indulge in Disgaea tonight or tomorrow. I did have quite a bit of discussion w/ both Brian and Chelle about the Starbound chapter, but right now, I barely have the spoons left to fix anything up or plan the next scene out. Doesn't help either how unsatisfied Super Paper Mario had just left me, a few weeks still after my second experience with Food Fantasy had also ended on such a bleak note.
Yes, I'm allowing myself to zero in on Disgaea in particular, because I simply fear that I'm just gonna continue to crave that, and barely get any more work done, should I play anything else. I even keep a file prioritizing which games I will play in relation to which, which begins with an opening note allowing myself to take liberties like this.
These games I play... They're supposed to motivate me through Game Gourmet, by reminding me what I hope to have happen in Day of the Beehive. Right now, though, I can't help but think about the Item World and its various geo puzzles to attempt and prizes to win. Why? I was expecting to randomize whatever I'd play for each break, at least when nothing demands priority for any reason in particular, and just embrace whatever I go with. This just feels so cheap, to single one game in particular out for such a tangential reason.
