Dec. 8th, 2019 06:04 amHad to run a few errands with Mom yesterday.
First, to the landfill, to dispose of all our recycling, and especially glass, which no longer gets picked up.
Then, to Woodside Avenue, where Mom had noticed some piles of pine branches the other day. I helped her get as much pine into three black garbage bags as possible.
And then, to the hospital, where she had me help her construct two white wooden reindeer in the courtyard.
Was hoping to eat lunch at the cafeteria, but at that time, while the place itself was open, the staff were only getting ready to start serving that while ending breakfast hours.
On the way home, Mom made a sidestop at Meat Farms, and I ate lunch instead at this nearby pizzeria. I got a pepperoni slice stuffed with chicken, bacon, and ranch dressing for the main course, and some Spumoni Italian ice and a bottle of chocolate milk to go with it.
Just as I finished eating, Mom came in saying that she rung me three times. I checked my phone when we got home, and found out that it had somehow muted itself. Fixed that, and filled her in.
