(no subject)

Had the last slice of that pizza and the remainder of a pineapple soda that I requested with it for lunch at yesterday at 10, only for Marie and Drew to invite me an hour later to eat breakfast (at their hour) at this place called Metropolis.

I ordered some chocolate chip pancakes, homefries, and pineapple juice. The homefries, though, were nothing like in Boston; instead of resembling fries of some sort, they were more like dry mashed potatoes crispy on the top.

We did some food shopping at Target after leaving, and Marie and Drew also had a cooking class they had signed up for later in the day.

Managed to stay up to watch the ball drop this year, seeing how sleeping and hoping to wake up just beforehand would only make me feel drowsy if I were to wake up. Also made some hot chocolate for everyone with some mix that I had gotten for Christmas, something I was already planning to do at some point before they go home, and as a bonus, I regained the spoons to play Star Ocean for a bit longer after previously tiring out. Managed to skip dessert as well, although I did notice that pie out that now has barely a quarter of it left.

Went to bed shortly after the ball dropped, and Brian and Emily came back home just shortly thereafter.
