Quite by coincidence, our Internet connection crapped out, and Brian had to spend hours troubleshooting. I passed some of that time by reading volume 2 of The Isolator.
He and Emily were planning to eat out at J&R's Steakhouse, but we couldn't leave until after some correspondence between him and Optimum Online. I went to bed at 7:30, but he woke me up only half an hour later, so at least I wasn't feeling too drowsy to bother going out.
Got a filet mignon as the main course in a combo, which included dessert for which I ordered some key lime pie.
Managed to catch up with Wanikani when we returned home, and found myself up until 11.
