Feb. 9th, 2020 05:07 amFinally completed Mother 3 yesterday.
Also blew through season 1 of New Game! since taking that out among other anime from our library the other day. Which is funny, because I only managed one episode the first time I checked that out a few months ago.
And after all of three weeks it took to finish Mother 3, only one new Food Soul has been added to Food Fantasy Wiki, just shortly after I finished it.
Frankly, I'm pretty much bored with food icons at this point. Even though that was the first thing I wanted to focus on when I ditched writing in favor of graphics, I'm already tired of seeing all the same things to create.
With that, I think I am going to start focusing on PC sprites, this time clothed normally. I did consider commissioning for maps, but I'm gonna need to have some character sprites to showcase in order for anyone I hire to draw things in proportion. Meanwhile, having also gotten some new story ideas months ago, I am going to seek people out to integrate those into the main story outline somehow and flesh everything out.
But of course, the project itself is just one thing I've got on a to-do list I wrote up the other day for after I'd finish M3.
(Wanikani is also on vacation mode right now; I was barely able to focus on that after completing the game, and I really could use a few days off at this point.)
(As a reminder to myself, I'm gonna need a proper image of what dongtang looks like. I already tried googling it, but different things come up depending on what I type in, and this bowl of noodles is what I took from Images and created an icon for before checking the Food Soul's wiki page where it's actually specified as a snack.)
(Also planning to create a single-scoop ice cream cone under my Rare column, to precede the canonical Soft Serve Cone and Double Scoop.)
