May. 7th, 2020 06:13 amWound up accompanying Emily to Target yesterday afternoon, where she was set to get some stuff for a baby that Maggie just had, upon coming up to watch Lucky Star with her and Brian. Got a box of Peeps cereal among several other things while we were there, and she also stopped at Maggie's house on our way back home.
Watched episode 11 upon returning back home, and it stalled and skipped towards the end. Brian had to stream it from YouTube, and I brought the player itself down to test on my own TV. Same deal there, but I did go on this morning to test it on VLC, and it ran smoothly. (Thought I recalled watching it on my external DVD drive with Mom without any issues two years ago.)
Also find a pretty cheap Blu-Ray set on eBay last night, and coupled with how well ep. 1 displayed on our main TV, I think that might be a pretty worthwhile investment for when we go visit Marie. Will still keep my current set, though, in case I ever need to show anyone on a PC. (Yeah, some things seem to vary between a computer or a TV set, as had proven the case with Inside Out. I had also recently tested Madoka on my TV, and the audio never blipped out like on my computer.)
