Jul. 12th, 2020 07:45 amBrian and I drove to Bagel Lovers for lunch yesterday, but only to take out. Two of the tables were blocked off by police tape, and there was only one left free.
Back home, while we were eating, Brian was watching some stuff with our parents. One thing was a clip from this old movie called Cinderfella, where the "ball" involves the prince dancing solo and much more freely to some jazz music.
From there, I brought up that segment from the Lucky Star OVA, known colloquially as "Tsunderella", where Konata drags Kagami to a "ball" that's actually a wrestling tournament where girls compete to date "Prince" Misao. Neither Mom nor Brian remembered, but I did show Mom afterwards, and she found it rather amusing. (Brian should be seeing it again anyway, once we reach the OVA itself to show Emily.)
