(no subject)

Went with my parents to the beach yesterday afternoon. Upon leaving, we noticed Emily at this ice cream truck always parked near the sidewalk. I got out of the car to say hi and ask her to buy me something, but Mom called me back over, and Emily asked me to see what she was saying. Turned out she was telling me not to piggyback on others for stuff, and she also told Emily not to buy me anything, to which she responded that she a cone she had bought was actually for Brian, who was still in their car. (And yes, we did see him eating it after leaving the parking lot.)
