Sep. 5th, 2020 07:37 amIn case I ever need to access it again, I have blocked Kickstarter through an extension called uBlacklist, so that I don't make a habit of checking for updates that I had specifically unsubscribed from.
If I ever do play Eiyuden Chronicle without any deviation on its part away from 110 heroes, it would be after I play each game on my current agenda, along with anything else that might crop up, three times: Personally, just to get a feel for them, then for its walkthrough, and then for YouTube. On top of that, Food Fantasy would have to be out of service by then, both here and in Japan (assuming I'm even fluent enough to read Japanese, which will still take years), without something similar that meets my criteria to take its place as something just to default to when I need a break from my personal Starbound work.
The way things stand, the entire Trails series comprises less than half my gaming agenda, and I'm only putting that off due to hints of some possible 3D remakes of the Sky trilogy (and only for long enough to see how well those pan out). While I am now saving Star Ocean: First Departure for even later when I will likely commission for some ROMhacks on Freelancer, I still have The 7th Stand User (four playthroughs), The World Ends With You, and Disgaea 1 and 5 Complete (including D1's Etna mode) left to complete before I come back to Trails in the Sky, let alone invest in anything I don't have currently. And not only is Christmas just four months away now, but right now, I'm not gonna be playing even those; I've already gotten back into swing once and for all with food icons, and will spend just a day or so with Angry Birds between petering out again and coming back to THIS IS IT!
(Admittedly, Mellore in particular is pretty unique, being such an atypical character for fantasy RPGs as an expy of Sailor Moon, but Food Fantasy is already full of similarly unique characters to pit against things.)
