Jan. 9th, 2021 07:22 amBrian's birthday was yesterday, and I had offered to pay instead of him for lunch. He and Emily were going for a ride to Montauk, and he stopped first at Bagel Lovers for a bagel to eat out there. Then, he placed an order at Cactus Cafe, and I decided to place one as well, and we also got a cookie for myself and a gluten-free bagel for Emily at Bagels Your Way Cafe, before coming home to have our stuff from CC.

To celebrate, we had a cake and some cupcakes with cream cheese icing. While the others sang Happy Birthday, I came out singing a different song from the English dub* of Haganai Next:

For presents, we got him a kayak seat and this thick, hardcover comic book called The World of Edena.
