Yesterday was my first visit to the gym in more than a year. Brian came down and asked me at noon, but I sort of declined at first, having been alerted so suddenly. He said he was actually going in fifteen minutes, and that gave me time to reconsider.

(Should make a point while he's here not to eat lunch so early as 10, and to come upstairs to ask him if he's going anywhere, since he decided for the second time so far to get a bagel as well after I had already eaten.)

Emily remained upstairs for dinner, but the rest of us have just watched this documentary cartoon tonight called Storyville, about things that various rap musicians recall from during their careers.

Mom went on to tell me that Earl Simmins, a.k.a. Dark Man X, one of my favorite rappers back in high school (hence my username), has died today.
