(no subject)

Barely a dozen minutes into the tutorial after having been distracted yet again with something else, as per the person's instructions, I download a program called Tiled, and the tiles for some reason become half the size they're supposed to be, with no way to re-size them. Showed Brian last night, and as it turns out, the problem is that the program and tutorial are both obsolete.

He has instead found a tileset of Onett, and suggested I start using Unity to recreate Earthbound from scratch. What more efficient way to learn how to create my own game in particular. I'll have to tackle that without a tutorial just a little each day after he leaves on Wednesday.
