Dec. 24th, 2021 04:49 amYesterday, the five of us at lunch at Moe's for the first time in years, and discussed all kinds of things while eating.
At one point, something called Health At Every Size came up, and someone mentioned having watched My 600lb Life, saying that 600 pounds would not be healthy for anyone. I chimed in and joked "unless you're a Cibus", and Drew asked what a Cibus is. Me and Brian had to explain the concept, along with parent concept Puella Magi, and I offered to email him links to both Puella Magi Madoka Magica and my commissioned adaptation Cibus Esculentus Madoka Magica (which I took care of back at home. He agreed for later in the week when I asked if he'd be interested in seeing some of the former).
We then drove over to Uncle Giussepe's, and me, Marie, and Drew climbed out of the car while Brian and Emily sought somewhere to park. There turned out to be a line to get in, and out in the freezing cold, we decided it wasn't worth the wait just to do some shopping. (Mom later explained that this is normal on the days leading up to Christmas.)
