(no subject)

This takeout place called Waffles & Soul that's been in place for years now had just opened recently. Mom wanted to try it out recently, and we meant to treat everyone there while they were over, but we only got around to checking it out yesterday. It turned out to be closed due to an order of frying oil that hadn't been delivered yet.

Mom was also told by someone at work about this other place around here called 5 Brothers, which also specializes in waffles and fried chicken. We went there instead, and ended up liking it.

We're still going to try out W&S probably next week.
