Mar. 11th, 2023 05:35 amSuffice to say, the McDonald's restaurant I used to work at sure has changed.
Between the aforementioned Applebee's interview in Shirley and McDonalds' Coram location at 3:45, both in the same direction from home, having already deposited my money at the bank right next to the Farmingville location, we were able to fit two other errands in. Mom had to return something at Costco in Holbrook, and I decided to sit down in there to have a hot dog and a mocha for a late lunch, having been full for most of the day from some pancakes Mom made with cottage cheese mixed in for breakfast. Then she had to stop at the clinic where Dr. Mattimoe works currently, to pick up some paperwork for SCAT that I was notified of earlier on. (Since I was the one who went inside for that, that took me long enough for her to wonder if there was a problem, when I really just had to use the restroom first and then wait for the receptionist to sort some stuff out.)
Mom also had to hop over to a nearby Home Depot to pick up a battery for the pickup after McDonald's.
And when I got home, I had received an interview email for Applebee's in Farmingville (right next to McDonald's), for a server position, today at 2.
