May. 2nd, 2023 07:54 amTwo nights ago, upon taking the Joy-Cons off my Switch for my evening round with Disgaea, something popped up saying "Low battery" for the left one. Naturally, I figured that maybe it didn't have enough time to charge, and put everything back together for the night. The next morning, the same thing happened, and I went through some troubleshooting first.

Managed to get the Switch to specify its battery half-full, and took then to get an extra hour of sleep while letting it finish charging properly.

Mom and I arrived almost an hour early at Walmart after dropping Dad off at a clinic somewhere, and split up some shopping between the two of us.
Just as I made my way over to my first item, I noticed someone having trouble loading a box of bottled water into her cart due to some kind of palsy, and helped her right out. (Good thing we called off that mall trip.)
Mom and I agreed to meet at the game section after finishing up, and I still had 20 minutes left before my interview. Had a look around, and stumbled upon a shelf column for anime.
Wound up buying season 1 of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, and went back to the car to give to Mom. She called me on my way there to say a few things, but wasn't in the car when I reached it. I spotted her right afterwards, and it turned out that she was looking all over for it, having only remembered parking somewhere originally somewhat empty (I remembered parking near a cart slot somewhere in the center).
Had my interview, and was given a cashier position for 2-11 PM. After declining such hours, we then agreed for me to come back at 3 today (my hour of choice) to negotiate some better hours with her manager.
And, we ended up not dining out anywhere. Mom did have some more stuff to buy at Costco, but upon checking Dad's situation, who told us his operation for the day was all finished, she did not want to leave him sitting around either there or in the car.
Well, she did buy Dad a box of donuts, and being able to have one of those right after lunch might've compensated a little.

Last night's evening movie, Troll, happened to pique my interest for once while I was having dinner, and I stayed down to watch the whole rest of it after eating, before cleaning up and having dessert.
Suffice to say, it was too late for me to start another Disgaea session by the time I went back upstairs.
