Jan. 15th, 2024 05:28 amFinally got around to Earthbound yesterday, and it turns out that Pokey was renamed Pingus. Dropped Mr. Tenda a line, and took then to wipe my bathroom down, read The Week, and then help Mom with a few things downstairs before having lunch.
It comes as no surprise that that was just one of several measures he took to ensure that I pay for his work. I took then to admit that, while I was planning to record the current hack anyway for the sake of my next video, I particularly didn't like how he went out of order to visit Magnet Hill before recruiting Poo (the savestates are all named), something I didn't think was even possible. (Some graphics were also glitchy when he showed me the respective changes in video, due to creating savestates before applying the changes, and to view them correctly would entail loading each savestate and then resetting the game to fight my way back to wherever he previously saved in-game.)
He agreed to create a savestate to correct that, but I still have yet to hear back from him. Still have yet to receive that, but today is one of my longer days at work, I'm likely to be too tired to view any changes when I'm back home, and I'll probably have to take care of it before 9:30 tomorrow.

Went with my parents to the gym in the afternoon, mainly so that I could deposit my change at Stop&Shop first, before I purchase a camera Drew recommended to me to mount atop my monitor.
The machine was full, and Mom and I agreed to let me take care of it at Walmart when she comes to drive me home. (Walmart also has Coinstar; just had to refresh myself what Stop&Shop has, in case Walmart's was a different service that doesn't let you count towards Amazon.)
