(no subject)

For breakfast at home yesterday, I had a waffle with some leftover batter from the previous day. For actual protein, with over half an hour to kill before my shift, I hopped over to Tropical upon arriving at work (not the first time), and ordered a peanut butter banana crunch flatbread (a breakfast item), with a Mocha Madness smoothie to go with it. Since smoothies currently get a discount until 10 AM, and offers and discounts usually cannot be combined, I didn't know that I could combine one of several 10%-off rewards I had accumulated with that until the cashier asked me if I would like to.

Applying one of those was something I forgot to do the previous day when ordering lunch in advance, but had remembered for yesterday's lunch order. Something I've still been forgetting to do yesterday was pay in cash (mostly from Brian, in exchange for washing and folding his laundry at one point, which is also where that twenty came from that I exchanged for singles), as long as I was ordering in person.

While I was actually eating, someone had brought a cat into the establishment, inside a plastic carrier. It meowed several times, and the owner seemed to mention something about having had a vet appointment that he was combining that visit of his with.
