Oct. 17th, 2024 05:43 amWent with Brian and Emily to this place called Little Mexico. Ordered some lengua (cow tongue) tacos and something called tuetano al grill, which was described as wagyu bone marrow prepared with herbs, followed by a tres leches cake.
At some point, Emily set Maris up with her phone to watch Little Bear. I suggested that she might also be interested in A Little Snow Fairy Sugar when we'd be back home.
Upon leaving the place, I asked if they'd be interested, but Brian said they'd probably watch something for themselves.
They hung around outside for a bit when we arrived back home, but came in to watch something with Maris while I was reading a card from Aunt Marie that Mom had texted me about. She and Dad were at a doctor's appointment, so we had the downstairs TV to ourselves, and I put the show on on YouTube.
Turned out that the playlist available presents everything slightly out of order, with the numbers only denoting the order they were uploaded. What were numbered 1 and 2 were actually the post-ending OVA, but the main series is in order on its own afterwards, with "3" being the actual first episode. (Turns out also the case on Gogoanime, and I actually experienced a similar issue there before with K-On!)
We watched the actual first episode, but there was also that old problem with the sync, which I actually only noticed upon the commercial cue. I suggested they not watch any further episodes on YouTube, and Brian agreed. (Brought my Supersonic DVD player downstairs later to hook up there, in case we watch any further episodes there.)
