Oct. 29th, 2024 08:33 amMarie and Dad watched this movie yesterday morning called A Simple Plan. I saw mostly the beginning and end of the movie, and Mom saw only parts of it, including the end, after coming home early from work.
Mom then drove me somewhere to pick up a book of SCAT tickets that she had me order over the phone the other day.

Marie drove me to Smithhaven Mall early in the afternoon. The other day, after I had a pair of frozen burritos for lunch the day prior, Mom had mentioned planning to pick up some new frozen meals at Trader Joe's nearby, and that's when I asked if she could drive me to the mall. That's when she suggested bringing Marie there on an outing.
We both hit the food court first. Marie got a hot dog and some fries, and I ordered a pair of corn dogs and some blueberry lemonade separately at this new place called Kong Dog. One of said corn dogs was sweet potato, and the other was listed as "rainbow" and said to be coated in "fruity rice", but turned out to be Fruity Pebbles cereal.
Marie noticed that Häagen-Dazs was closed, so I thought then to get some Dippin' Dots from the vending machine inside the entrance, while Marie look at some clothes at Macy's. That one turned out to be out of service, so I just looked around the hallways for any kind of snack at all. Came across a Cinnabon stand, and ordered two Cookie BonBites, one regular and one smore-flavored, before grabbing a Nitro Cold Brew at a nearby Starbucks to go with those.
Looked around at anime in f.y.e., and then texted Marie before heading to Barnes & Noble. Didn't buy anything at either place.

Shortly after we came home, someone knocked on our door to give Mom a bouquet as thanks for fueling his car enough with our mower gas to enable the rest of his way to the gas station at Horseblock Road.

Marie had brought a much more powerful blender here with her than our own, and made Dad a couple of smoothies the day after she arrived. Last night, she offered me one consisting of spinach, a carrot, grapes, mangoes, blueberries, and mint.
