Just shortly before my first fifteen, my memories of Dad started getting to me. Decided to take said break to grab a quick bite at Starbucks, and ordered a turkey sage danish and a Nitro Cold Brew.
(Marking that down, so that I remember to order that along with some drinks for the last week of Starbucks For Life tomorrow, after our walk down the beach that we forgot to take on Christmas. Mom expressed interest in one last night when I brought it up offhand, and I'll probably check at the end of today's shift as well in case it sells out tomorrow.)

A week ago, Chelle reblogged something urging people to shop at Amazon as normal, so as to aide in a strike that had started there. I decided the morning after seeing Made In Abyss, season 1, gone from Hidive, to look into getting that on DVD, and showed that to Mom, who was supposed to have placed the order then but had gotten sidetracked with everything going on here.
Just last night while we were coming home, I brought it up again, and she only remembered then.
This morning, I remembered an email I got for Amazon's winter sale, which I had originally deleted, and decided to forward that to Mom. We looked into other places to stream it, but Plex only turns up three services where you have to pay. (She told me that Brian does pay for Apple TV, but there is no English audio for the show there.)
She asked to see what originally brought it on, and I showed her the Tumblr post in question.
Looks like things worked out for the better there.
(On that note, I had also donated a first monthly $25 to Wikipedia after seeing a post about Elon Musk setting sights there after what he did to Twitter. Asked Mom to deposit $40 after she had previously asked me to pay that amount for a haircut out of $200 in cash that Brian had given me for Christmas. We discussed the actual situation the next morning or so, and she, along with some people on Reddit, say that not only does Wikipedia already have some major donors behind it, but Musk has too little credibility left after his questionable decisions involving Twitter and Tesla. (Since I haven't seen that Amazon purchase in my TFCU statement, though, I am willing to assume that she paid for that DVD set herself, and call it even between us now.))
