The PC-FX had been unhooked from the living room TV since the night Brian had his birthday party. I hooked it back up yesterday, and continued with Makeruna! Makendou Z. As it turns out, there's actually a part of the main script that I missed the first time around, which is an exchange between the Makendou girls and the elder of some mountain village. During my first playthrough, I just spoke to him randomly and moved on with the game, but this time around, I found out that you actually *have* to talk to him in order to continue further north. I recorded the dialogue in question onto two pieces of looseleaf paper.

I also went on my first non-lunch outing for the Dowling Project yesterday. Me, Vincent, and this other boy named Mark went out bowling. The night before, I told Mom about our plans, and she had a coupon for up to ten people for a free game at the Sayville bowling alley. Yesterday, though, when Vincent called, he told me that that one was too far away from my house, so we went to the one in Shirley instead.

On the way there, Vincent and Mark did most of the talking, but then Vincent asked me what I've been up to. I told him about my translation Project of Makeruna! Makendou Z. Mark told me that even though he can't translate, he could fix up any script to suit any style I want. We agreed to have me show him my transcript and the stuff I already roughly translated next time we meet.
