Nothing too significant, as far as 7th grade goes. Here we go:

September 14, 1998 (Monday)

At Gym 8th Period, I told Coach O’Neal what happened with my foot, so he just had me practice throwing a football with him and Taison.

September 15, 1998 (Tuesday)

Today, I had a good day in group, so Mom promised to buy a TV cleaner to fix the TV in the basement.

Tonight at 7:00, we saw the continuation of The King of the Hill episode where the MegaLoMart gets blown up. Bobby was in a treehouse and someone told him “Your father got blown up.” Meanwhile, one of Louanne’s friends really was dead. At first, she was happy he was dead, but in the end, she found a pair of earrings and a card that he gave her, and she realized what a good friend he actually was. Meanwhile, Hank turned out to be okay.

September 17, 1998 (Thursday)

While I was doing my homework, I started watching Brian and James play Diddy Kong Racing. They were battling eachother in Fire Mountain both as Pipsy with the DoubleVision cheat on. Soon, Dad asked me to sweep the driveway, and Brian and James also went outside. Newbill’s dog Rocksand was walking around the driveway, and she had a tumor, but James thought she was pregnant.

September 18, 1998 (Friday)

Today, before first period, me and Mrs. B. went upstairs to see Jenna. Today was Clash Day, so she was wearing different-colored shoes and socks. She asked me what I think of them. I said to her “I think you look good in clash—ay shoes.” She laughed slightly.

Before dinner, we watched Betty Boop on Pee-Wee’s Playhouse. For dinner, we had spinach and some other stuff. While Mom was bringing it in, she’s like “We’re having spinach, and it contains iron, and it’s delicious.” Brian and Marie were complaining about it while eating. Mom’s like “Popeye eats it, we know what happens to him.” Brian’s like “Why doesn’t he just eat an anvil?”

(Clash Day: This was one of five days during a week called Spirit Week, during which people compete against one another to fulfill the prerequisites of a given day. For this particular day, we were supposed to wear clothes which the colors don't go together. I don't remember how people were grouped to compete, whether it was 6th graders vs 7th graders, homerooms, or whatever else. Two other such days during that week were Crazy Hat Day and Green and White Day (green and white being the colors of Longwood). If I still had my agenda book, though, I would be able to simply look up the other two and write down which days were which.)

Anyway, for the past four days, I've been playing Pokemon Emerald almost non-stop, with chores being the only factor to divert my attention. I had been taking breaks to wander outside and enjoy my in-game accomplishments, but only yesterday had I gotten around to doing something else, which in this case, was to start reading Japanese in Mangaland, volume 3. I do have plenty of other things to be doing, such as starting my transliteration of Super Robot Taisen K, but considering that I only have the Elite Four, the Battle Frontier, and some stuff between those two events, hey, I might as well just get things over with. Especially since it will only be several days before I have to start playing the first game in the 7th grade lineup.
