Monday for this set of entries is the day that I got my cast removed. Friday is the second of two times that we rented Snowboard Kids 2, as well as the first time we ever rented Super Smash Bros. (which I didn't play until we rented it again the following Thanksgiving). And Saturday was the day that Track was held, which Brian was in.

Today in softball, I held the bat towards both the left and the right, to see which position was right for me. Mom told me that I was a pretty good switch-hitter.

Today during school, I got picked up so I could get my cast removed.

Tonight after Group, Mom had to go to some school for Brian’s track meeting. Marie was also with us, and we were traveling through some neighborhood that Mom used to live in. She showed us who lived in what house as she drove along.

The meeting took place in the lower floor of the school. Not much happened there, except that we noticed a disco ball on the ceiling.

On the way home, Brian asked Mom about some game called Command & Conquer. Mom’s like “It’s not like Gory, is it?” I asked her what Gory is, and Brian answered for her, something about ribs flying everywhere.

That was actually the first time I had ever heard the word "gory" in my life, so I thought it was a game title rather than an adjective.

Today, I was gonna start playing Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time again. My objective is going to be to keep my Bottles full at all times, with whatever I come across first when one of them is empty. Revealing Secret Grottos is also important whenever one of my Bottles is empty.

Mom, Brian, and Marie went to Blockbuster, but I didn’t come. I told Mom not to get any games for me. However, when they came home, they had already rented both Super Smash Bros. and Snowboard Kids 2, so now I might as well play SK2 for as long as I have it.

May 1, 1999 (Saturday)

This morning, I was playing Snowboard Kids 2, and as usual, I had to retry again and again when I was at Linda’s Castle.

Later on, Mom took Brian and Nicole to track, and me and Marie had to come with them. I didn’t want to come, but Mom told me that she has no one looking over the house.

When we were at the school where it was taking place, I went up the slope away from everyone else and thought about Snowboard Kids 3. While I was there, some little girl came up to me and asked if I wanted to play rock adventure with her. I said no, and she said “You can keep any rocks you find.” I still said no, and she left. Later on, I came running down the slope, fell down, and scraped my elbow. Mom had to take a look at it when we got home. Meanwhile, Brian got first place in track when the whole thing was over.

Tonight, we watched the Kids’ Choice Awards 1999 on Nickelodeon. While we were watching, I’m like “Uh-ohhhh, we forgot something veeerrrryyy important.” Brian’s like “Oh, no,” and I brought Nuts over to watch the show with us. During the commercials, there was this commercial for a new show called Spongebob Squarepants.
