dmxratedGETTER LOVE!!
Three rounds yesterday, which is one less than the day before. Pretty hard to pace myself right now, but of course, after a short while, I'm gonna get fucking sick of this game. Yep, just like with Whacked! in February 2004, and Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 two years later.
Also, things would've been so much more convenient if I was playing this months ago, instead of Makeruna! Makendou Z, and doing my MMZ transcript right now. Back when I had some term papers to complete, I had my own TV set to play Nintendo 64 games, so sharing the TV with Dad wouldn't have been an issue, which means less time wasted trying to get as many game opportunities as possible. Plus, the books I had been reading for said papers would be the best way to pace myself. Today, I have a new TV set that's compatible with all my game consoles, which would really rule out any need to make way for Dad when he wants to watch TV, and I have so much free time on my hands. Yeah, I have at least two things to be doing, which are a list of stuff from Yoshi's Island and something related to Monster Collection Chronicles, the latter of which I plan on hosting on this blog when it's finished. I would've done either if it weren't for a headache that I had between rounds 2 and 3 of Getter Love!!
Anyway, let's begin:
Round 1: This roller coaster of a relationship that I had with Ayumi eventually crashed into the ground, leaving me screwed before Chikashi confessed his love to Makoto. To start with, I set up a date to go somewhere, I didn't remember where, but I can tell it wasn't Cafe Liquid. Someone invited me to a party there, causing Alfonso's face to block out her's, and that's just the first fuck-up. At one point, she invited me to her house, triggering one of her special events and raking me in four or five rows of hearts. I also managed to get my hands on the beach card, set up a date with her there, and would have nearly owned her if Reika didn't show up to ruin it. Asshole! Eventually, I met with her somewhere, and gave her a "mint" something that Alfonso gave me at China Hao Hao (can't remember the whole name, but it was all katakana), only to lose four rows of hearts. Umm, it's a fucking present! Why look a gift horse in the mouth? Well, she doesn't want anything to do with me now, and to think that she invited me to her house.
Round 2: Pursued relationships with both Ayumi and Natsuki, more so with the latter. Got the same special event from Ayumi as with the previous round, and I also got invited by Natsuki into her room after she set up an appointment at the school. Got hosed twice in a row, but the second time around, I was lucky enough to run into Alfonso at the Game Corner the first time I got. Right before the game ended, I had three dates in a row, and was low on hygeine when I had to meet Natsuki at the library, but went anyway. It only costed me four hearts, but still a bad idea. Reika then spotted me again, I went home and bathed, and thanks to her, I hardly recovered any Youshi energy.
Oh, and during the game, I managed to receive a "Cookie" as a present; couldn't remember whether it was from Ayumi or Natsuki. I did get a few dates in with Hana, but didn't give it to her, deciding to wait instead until I'm closer to her.
Round 3: So far, this is the most pathetic game of Getter Love!! I have ever played. Started out by meeting Meifa at China Hao Hao, and it didn't take long to piss her right off. From there on, since I wasn't receiving calls from anyone except Alfonso, I just spent the rest of the game rolling dice to select destinations. Someone (don't remember or care who) got a really good relationship in with Ayumi, and there goes the game!

Now I have absolutely no idea about dating and simulation games, but was that mint as in the candy people use to fresh up their breath? If so, giving someone a mint might imply you think their breath smells bad, depending on the kinda person they are they might take offense to it.
