Sep. 22nd, 2009 04:47 amBulbapedia has just announced that a Wi-Fi event for Oak's Letter on Pokemon Platinum will be taking place in about a week.
Did Nintendo set up some kind of pattern for these things? Initially, Japan saw the release of first, the Secret Key, then, the Member Card, then the Secret Key again, and finally, Oak's Letter. The United States then saw the distribution of the Secret Key, the Member Card, and now Oak's Letter, all three in that order. European players have then had the opportunity to download the Secret Key, followed by one for the Member Card. Anywhere you go, all item events are for Platinum only, not for Diamond or Pearl. Meanwhile, the Azure Flute has not been distributed anywhere! Nope, not even in Japan!

Yesterday's round of Getter Love!! was a bust. Only a few game-days passed before I turned the game off, and I'm not even gonna bother describing anything that happened today. However, I do have some shit to say about a certain game/song I added to my list yesterday:
Shipwreck Cliff Chasm
Link: The Faces of Evil
CD-i
Phillips (licensed by Nintendo)
Yeah, so even though Zelda: Wand of Gamelon had its share of suck songs, its soundtrack was still a lot better than that of Faces of Evil. No matter how many times I check out the Faces of Evil songs on YouTube, most of them are just kinda forgettable.
Anyway, if you ask me, the song in question would've been appropriate for the underwater realm in Makeruna! Makendou Z, where Mai and co. explore a shipwreck of their own. The name "Shipwreck Cliff" also sounds cool. Kinda inspires something for Monster Collection Chronicles, where some of the Knights could explore a half-submerged ruined ship near a cliff, half-flooded while still on the surface (kinda like the Abandoned Ship in Pokemon RSE). Oh, and did I forget to say, "great swimsuit opportunity"?
