dmxratedAfter my Japanese class ended yesterday, Mom had to drive somewhere to buy socks for Dad and to return some curtains. She meant to do that while I was in class, but Marshall's and WalMart were both closed. While she was shopping around, I went into BestBuy to look at games, and then spent most of the time out on the sidewalk. Shortly before she finished what she had to do, I noticed a pizzeria, and asked Mom if we should eat lunch there. She said that we were going home, but gave me a five to buy myself something. It was just enough to buy a pepperoni slice and a small cup of iced tea, which is all she wanted me buying.
As far as games go, while most anime games that we've been getting have still been for the Nintendo DS and the PlayStation Portable, it does seem that the home consoles have been getting more of them, such as Muramasa: The Demon Blade on the Nintendo Wii, and Cross Edge for the Playstation 3. One game that's been ported to both of those consoles and the Xbox 360 has been Bakugan Battle Brawlers, but I don't think I'm interested in that one after having read Chelle's first review for the anime series.
I also saw the opening sequence to Glory of Heracles playing on the demo DS unit. Not that it's relevant to anything, but that proves that the Nintendo DS is very much capable of Full Motion Video, even though it runs on cards instead of disks. Whether it's capable of extensive voice acting, I have yet to see. Of course, it might be relevant if I still planned on creating a sequel to Makeruna! Makendou Z, but even then, I kinda had non-handheld consoles on mind back when I planned on making such a sequel.
In any case, I don't usually buy games after just having a look at them, nor am I bored enough to want to buy anything. Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver will be coming out in another month, I still have yet to start over with Diamond and continue with Platinum, and I already plan on playing Pokemon Battle Revolution after I complete Diamond. All of that should keep me nice and busy for a while, likely until next year when Generation V will supposedly begin in the United States.
