dmxratedLevel grinding...
Exactly what I spent most of my Digimon World 3 playthrough doing, hardheadedly avoided doing in Earthbound Zero, and wished I didn't have tospend so much time doing with Monica's monster transformations in my first in-depth Dark Cloud 2 playthrough.
So anyway, most of the Forest Temple in Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs was easy enough, although its last boss took a while to beat. Then comes the Fire Temple, and I'm just not leveled up enough to beat Magmortar. So, I spend some time grinding up to level 9 in the last Forest Temple stage, come back, and beat him. Next boss is Blaziken. Even with a souped-up Piplup, this guy is too hard. So, I spend some time in the first Fire Temple stage, and Magmortar goes from so damn hard to so damn easy as I repeat the level.
My rule is that if it's possible, I only keep leveling up for as long as I can do so in one shot each. And, even though grinding is usually something I try to avoid doing, in this case, it should keep me busy for a while before we see everyone.

Yeah, here's another reason for Kagami's pic today: Mom told me last night that our family gathering was being postponed for yet another week, because she has too much stuff to do before some of Dad's relatives come to visit us here. I was thinking of asking Adam if I could just borrow his DS and do what I need to do, when I need to do so, and lend it back to him next time we get together. However, with our plans changed again, I probably might as well just get it over with right then and there.
