Had errands to run yesterday morning.

To start off, Dad brought me to his workshop to mow the lawn there. After I finished, he gave me a five to go buy myself a drink with, and I went down to Cow Palace and bought a Nesquik. Not that this is the first time he gave me money to buy a drink or bought me one himself, but upon coming back, he asked me if I saw Hamid. I told him that I actually went to Cow Palace (right next to the gas station where he works), though I could definitely check out what's at the gas station next time I come to the shop.

Mom arrived at the shop a short while later. Spent some time speaking to Dad, until Marie called me on my cell phone (after failing to reach Mom directly, since she left her's in the car), and she and I went to pick her up at the train station.

We then stopped at the bank, where both of us had deposits to make. Mom had brought that big jar of change from the basement with her to cash in with. As for me, it turns out I had saved up a total of $109.59 in my wallet and my dresser drawer (not counting $15 that Mom still owes me).

When we got back in the car, Marie noticed the then empty Nesquik bottle in front of the front seat, and commented that it must be great to for me to be the only one still living with our parents. I asked her whether they have those at her school, since I used to get them all the time back at Dowling. She told me that Mom would never have let her have one of those when she was still a teen (at least not on a regular basis, as was cleared up not much later on), but Mom told her that it's not like I drink milkshakes every single day.

Mom was going to stop at Lowes, but missed the entrance and then stopped at Target just across the street from there so we could shop for shorts and groceries. Not much to say about me trying on different pairs of shorts, but while we shopped for food, I picked out two containers of ice cream and three different boxes of cereal, the latter for our upcoming trip. Marie also snuck a box of ice cream sandwiches into the cart (hiding it under my new pairs of shorts) while Mom momentarily left us behind to find a bottle of peanuts. (She offered me and Mom one each of those when we drove home.)

Later on, Mom and Marie went somewhere to do more food shopping. When they came home and I came out to help them bring it in, Marie handed me a bottle of gin, and jokingly told me not to drink all of it.

Anyway, Mom asked me exactly what I was bringing that I needed two plastic bins for, and if I really needed all that stuff. I told her that Marie was the one who suggested I bring the Nintendo 64 so we could play Mario Party. But then again, that was from before I downloaded Mario Party 2, which is similar enough, to the Wii Virtual Console. Bringing my DVD player wouldn't be necessary either, since there's already gonna be one up at the lakehouse.

After having removed the N64, all its related contents, and the DVD player, I was able to compress everything else into just one bin. Done and done.
