Jun. 29th, 2011 07:59 amHad a job interview at the Developmental Disabilities Service Office yesterday. When I came out, I told Mom that the people there had very few questions to ask me, and that I was at the top of the candidates list. She found it weird that I had more questions (three) to ask them than they had to ask me.
Coming home, Mom asked me if I would like to get a slurpee. Don't really care for those much, so I asked if I could get a donut instead. She said I could, and that there was an Entemann's and a Dunkin Donuts on the way home. Hardly anything inside the former when we stopped there.
At the latter, I was about to buy two donuts, but then noticed someone getting a milkshake. I tried to order one of those, but a small one costs $3.99 plus tax. I only had $3.25 from what Mom gave me, so I then ordered a latte.
I've got to remember that whipped cream with chocolate or caramel syrup does not make up for the dry taste of coffee. However, I do remember one time, when Vinnie brought me to Starbucks two years ago, getting something similar that had this sweet, slightly chunky stuff within the drink, rather than just ice. I had immediately forgotten what it's called, but upon asking Mom later on, she told me it might've been a frappucino.

Last night, Mom told me about some kind of virus that Brian described on his Facebook page. From what she gathers, it seeks passwords and can only be eliminated by re-installing Windows. For this reason, she advised me not to do any banking online for the time being, until Microsoft fixes the problem at hand.
