Writing this entry from Dad's workshop.

Had a hurricane all of yesterday, and we have been without electricity until noon today, except for a generator used to power up the fridge, the TV, the DVD player, and some lights. Even though we have the power back up, our Internet server is still down, which is why I'm here at the shop.

(I was able to check my inbox on DeviantArt right before typing up this entry, and got one which was sitting there since yesterday, regarding a new job offer I'm hosting on Point Commissioners. However, I am currently unable to check my email until further notice.)

Cleaning up the yard after a storm sucks even when you're not doing much. The only thing that would make it better would be if I was playing Pokemon HeartGold or SoulSilver and could use the PokeWalker while I'm playing the game. Of course, I beat the latter last year, and am not due to play the former until after I complete Diamond and Pokemon Battle Revolution.

Here is the entry after which I first challenged the Battle Frontier in Pokemon Emerald:

Two nights ago, I managed to beat 20 straight battles in the Battle Tower in Pearl, and got to fight Palmer. Unfortunately, my entire team got owned by his Dragonite, the very first Pokemon he put up front. But, trying to fix up a better team had been a moot point by then, for reasons I'm about to get into.

As of yesterday, I got to fight Pyramid King Brandon, beat him, and landed on the exact amount of points I was aiming for (that being 320).

Started with Pelliper, vs his Regirock. Used Surf, and it used Ancient Power. Switched to Magneton to take out with Spark. Next in line is Registeel. It used Earthquake to knock out Magneton, but then repeatedly used Metal Claw against Pelliper, which used Surf to take it out. With Regice now up front, I used a revive on Magneton, just in time before Regice took out Pelliper with Thunderbolt. Had Magneton paralyze Regice with Thunder Wave. It then managed to freeze Magneton with Ice Beam, and having equipped each of my Pokemon with a Lum Berry paid off, enabling me to get some damage in with Spark. After Magneton succumbed, I put Claydol up front. Had it use Ancient Power, and it barely survived an Ice Beam before being allowed to use Explosion and finish the fight off.

Got 16 points, and from there, all that mattered was seeing how far I could get in each facility that I still had a foothold in. Managed to clear another set and a half of floors in the Pyramid, but that was the only new record I was able to set in any of my games.

Of course, I still have yet to challenge the Gen IV Frontier in HeartGold and Platinum, plus even those aren't gonna count as much as whatever outcomes take place in Parasitic Trio.

That all said and done, I have updated the records for Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Pearl, and SoulSilver w/ my win streaks at each battle facility. Here are several links:

Next task is to migrate some Pokemon from each Gen III game to Diamond, but I'll probably get around to that tomorrow.
