dmxratedBrian had a job interview to go to yesterday, and Marie apparently had somewhere else to go as well, so Grandma Ella had to drive to the hospital to pick Mom up from work. I went with her at Mom's request.
Had some errands to run after picking Mom up. First, to Costco. Not much to note there. Then, to Dad's workshop to feed the cats. Saw Spatz, Blackie (who is currently pregnant), and Skittle.
Went over to Waldbaums to pick a few things up that Mom doesn't usually buy at Costco. Turns out that that store has the marked bags of Wonderful Pistachios. In turn, it also turns out that the codes were tagged onto the bags, instead of being inside them, and Mom was able to read four of them to me.
And finally, to the bank. Deposited a total of $169.74 that I had saved up in my wallet.
The wi-fi was down when we got home, so I couldn't put my Angry Birds codes to use right away. Mom even tried accessing the Internet through Marie's laptop, and it wasn't working, even though we could access it on the main computer. We had to wait for Brian and Marie to come home before Brian could look into it, but then it just fixed itself.
Didn't win any money, but I did win a couple of coupons (which I still have yet to print up) and a plush toy (which I'll decide what to do with when it arrives). Also turns out that there had been a total of five chances to win three prizes each throughout this past month, and that the competition is due to end in just a couple of days. So, maybe I should set Angry Birds Chrome to email me about updates and future promotions from now on. Understandable that I didn't foresee anything, though, given that that version was clearly brand new, labeled "beta" and with only two episodes when I first played it.
