Found out two days ago that, aside from the game (1995), there was also a 1920 silent film called Earthbound.

Marie told me yesterday about how things are changing in regards to double-standards. For example, while there are still shows that tend to portray men on the negative side, there are also more character-balanced shows such as 30 Rock, which feature both smart and dumb characters of both sexes (not to mention that one of the dumb characters is black). She also told me about certain people who have been crusading against this kind of stuff.

In particular, there's Glenn Sacks, who had crusaded against stuff like a certain Verizon commercial involving "homework" and the "Boys Are Stupid" line of t-shirts. I read the entry for the day in his blog, and then sent him an email about the StateFarm commercial that I linked to in yesterday's cut, mentioning that I will report any more (literally) stupid commercials I see on TV to him as I see them.

Marie brought me out to clean pine sap off of Grandpa's car upon noticing him out by himself trying. He was using this substance called GoopOff, which you have to pour onto a rag (and quickly, as it comes out real fast) instead of being able to just spray it.

Mom later had me give his car a regular wash while she and Marie went to Riverhead to go clothesshopping. Grandpa also went with them.

I later spoke to Grandpa about whether he actually believes Mom when she tells him that I "love" sleeping on the futon or that I wash her car and Dad's van every single week. (I only washed the car on my own volition once.) He says he doesn't really buy it, even though he is grateful of me to do something that he'd otherwise have to pay $175 for.

Not long afterwards, Mom asked me down into the basement, to question me about both pointing out her lies and accepting money from someone who lives off of social security. No, I don't approve of lying under any circumstances, and have only done so myself once on this blog (which I cleared up a year later), but I am not above accepting any kind of reward from anyone.

You should accept kindness graciously.

-An NPC in Earthbound Zero, if you reject his offer to spend the night at his house after fixing his bent spoon. And yeah, that's some good advice for Grandpa as well, given how reluctant he is to live with us temporarily even when she specifically offers (since it means I have to relinquish my bed and can't play anything on my TV during that time).

Managed to play almost all of Angry Birds Seasons 2012 in just one day yesterday, as opposed to the few days each it previously took me to beat the original Angry Birds and ABS 2011. Just completed Back To School this morning, except for finding the episode's Golden Egg and just playing the levels again after that. Once I do that, then it'll be time to play the Golden Egg levels for that year, and then I move on to Angry Birds Rio. (ABS 2013 can wait until either its year is complete or I beat everything to date before coming back.)

I also understand that certain promotional episodes such as Vuela Tazos and Cheetos are no longer available. No big deal, because they were exclusive to Angry Birds Chrome, which I'm not likely going to play anyway because it just got too spoilerrific for anyone like myself intending to play the Windows version. Nor do I feel like playing the same levels that I've already played several times before, and for that reason, I don't intend to play any of the console versions either, even for 19 exclusive levels. Also, I have noticed this episode called Philadelphia Eagles while one time reading about the Mighty Eagle; for whatever reason, though, it isn't listed in any of the Wiki's game lists. Why is that?
