Went to the library with Mom yesterday, and got myself Dream Eater Merry and the first two DVD volumes of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I'm not kidding about that latter one. Mom asked me if I actually would watch that even though it was produced by Nickelodeon, but truth be told, my mind has been made up on it for a while now. That show, along with its sequel series The Legend of Korra and the 2012 series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is one of the few Nicktoons for which I actually read pertaining trope examples on TV Tropes & Idioms, and I'm very much thinking that watching this one in particular might just help me cope better with my autistic aversion to most before it. And as a bonus, I even am particularly interested in the finale of Korra, which is said to be the most violent thing ever depicted in anything for kids (in graphic detail, no less) since The Inhumanoids.

I'm not so sure about graphic detail. The finale of LoK gained some (in)famy for the villain suicide thing, and there's a certain technique that the villain uses that's pretty painful, but it's completely free of blood or any other thing that people usually refer to when talking about graphic detail.
