Dec. 28th, 2015 06:34 amForgot to mention, but Brian also mentioned two nights ago at Friendly's, that working out builds testosterone, which in turn makes one more prone to outbursts. Something to keep in mind.

Brian showed me the first comment in particular on his iPhone yesterday morning, since that's what I do with Mabel all the time. I, in turn, showed him a part of Starbound (chapter 4) that involves Tsukasa doing that with another cat, and part of another fic (second section of chapter) where she gives Yutaka an impulsive hug and also says "I wanna hug you forever and ever!"
-----
Went with Brian in this red minivan he and Marie arrived home in when we hit New Jersey. Marie went with Mom and Dad, just for a change in pace.
Right now, Uncle Robby and Grandpa Bob still live in the same house they've lived in for a while. Rob told me that they'll actually move into their new house in a few weeks. Also there were Cousins Steven and Adam, Steven's girlfriend Jordan, Aunt Allison, and Uncle Blas.
Those manga could not have come at a better time. I read all the way through volume 1 of Suzune Magica after having already left home with Brian and a good while before reaching Rob's house. Had a nap when we reached the house, and then spent most of our visit reading Suzune v. 2 and re-reading Tart v. 1.
Everyone else who wasn't cooking dinner was watching stuff on TV, which included the Matrix trilogy. Dad commented during Neo's fight against all the Agent Smith clones during Reloaded, about how pathetic they all are for not being able to land a punch against him, and I mentioned having made a similar comment about Commando four years ago on Valentine's Day.
For dinner, we all had some prime ribs, mashed potatoes, and asparagus, among other things. Dessert included a rather tall chocolate cake, of which I only had a section of a slice before feeling too full to eat anymore. (I did recently make some brownies with peppermint frosting, but I don't know what happened to those. We were also gonna make that meat pastry and some M&M cookies, but Mom talked me out of both for different reasons and suggested we could make some later in the week when Brian's back.)
Brian and Marie both went back to Boston, although Brian should be coming home for another week tomorrow. I went home with Mom and Dad, and read volume 2 of Puella Magi Tart Magica for most of the ride. We were already on the Long Island Expressway when I finished it.
And, I also have a Visa gift card for $20 now. Having spent regular money on food at Starbucks and Target just recently, I can't wait to spend some of that next time I need anything. Also brought home a bag of cans for recycling, Mom owes me back a fifty that she borrowed, and once all that's taken care of, I'll be ready to hit the bank probably on Saturday.
