dmxratedTwo days ago, Mom drove me and Grandpa somewhere (thankfully near home) to get him a new splint. The two of them left me in the car with the air conditioner still running while the car itself was off, and when they came back, the car wouldn't start up again. Mom had to call Dad to come up and help us, only for someone else to notice our situation before he arrived.
Dad would then explain to Mom when she asked that, unlike the radio, running the A/C tends to drain the battery. Mom also had me pick up a gallon of milk at a nearby deli, since it seemed like we'd have to call off any plans to go to Costco and Best Market (she also considered hitting Fairway earlier on, but had already called that off before we left), but then Dad suggested that she bring just me to Costco in order to help the battery recharge after being jumped.
(That splint that we went out for didn't fit Grandpa well enough, by the way.)

Yesterday, Dad asked where this past month's hot sauce was, probably having forgotten that it was something he didn't like. I couldn't find it at first, and Mom suggested I instead pick this coming month's sauce a few days early. Rolled a die, and brought out the bottle of NM Chile Co. Pepper Sauce.
At Mom's suggestion, I later gave the upper pantry shelves a cleaning, and found that teriyaki sauce that we've hardly had any of so far on its side. (Mom would also make me a burger among other stuff for dinner last night, on which I'd apply that pepper sauce; will probably apply the teriyaki on one I might have for lunch today.)

Mom later dropped me off to have lunch at this place in Bellport called Village Bistro, which happened to be near the local library, while she and Grandpa went to a thrift store somewhere. Got myself a South of the Border wrap, a brownie, and a Nesquik, before hitting the library.
Looked around for some anime, and found one called Tears to Tiara, before picking up some Otaku USA magazines. Turns out, though, that they don't allow blu-rays or new releases to circulate between libraries, but I was able to take two of those magazines out.
