dmxratedManaged to get Sonic's one remaining emblem and clear the Pearl course this morning. Only the Emerald course remains, but none of my Chao stand any chance at all on it, even though it's the same as the Sapphire course with only some chestnut trees to shake added.
Gonna see this whole thing through even if Brian and Marie end up going back beforehand. I do wish I had to begin with, so that there wouldn't be any actual particular focus on those two games (which, like I said, we never even knew about way back then), but I'm just too close to finishing the task itself to abandon it now.

Went with Brian and Marie this afternoon to Bagels Your Way Cafe and Costco, even though I already had a cheese sandwich beforehand. Might have been able to skip a second lunch there (a bagel and a vanilla Nesquik) and saved myself some time asleep back at home, but I did obviously have to go to Costco with them, since they don't have membership there.
They decided to shop around at Savers after leaving the Costco store, and then we went home, and Brian and I both had a nap on the couch and in my room respectively. Played Sonic Adventure DX for a bit when I woke up, but then I joined them and Dad while they watched stuff on YouTube.
Brian and I eventually played Sonic Triple Trouble, the game we got and I played obsessively during the summer of '95 before we parted with the Game Gear just months later. Got bored halfway into Robotnik Winter, from which point on until just an hour ago he just joined Marie and Dad while they continued watching TV.
And, just now, the three of us kids have paid a visit to the months-since-reopened Friendly's restaurant just across Horseblock Road. I made a point of getting something relatively light so that I can sleep better and wake up early yet again tomorrow morning, but the lightest thing on the menu was a medium mint Oreo sundae at 660 calories.

Tomorrow, Mom and Marie have a pedicure planned at 9:30, which is around the same time Brian woke up today. I'll probably give myself until then or maybe even an hour earlier to soup my Chao up some more before hitting that last race again. It'll still be just another hour or so before Marie and Brian leave.
