dmxratedBrian had lost volumes 4 and 5 of Tart Magica up in Boston, saying that he might've forgotten them after bringing them to Brassica. I ordered some new copies at Barnes & Noble, and was told that they should arrive by Thursday or Friday, so Brian and I will probably take a trip up there for lunch on Friday.
Brian managed to read a chapter of Kazumi during the ride to New Jersey.
As it turns out, Uncle Robby is still living in the same house as before, since he still has yet to finish fixing it up before selling it.
Had plenty of sweets during our time there, although there wasn't a whole variety of cakes even after dinner. At one point, I almost ate a part of this loaf of Amish butter that Blas put together and cut up, mistaking it for some kind of cheese, and Jordan told me what it was before I'd have ingested it, allowing me to spit it out with Mom and Aunt Allison's help.
Rob was going to give me a check for Christmas, but realized he had no blank checks anywhere, and so promised to mail me one instead. He mentioned having picked up on my plans for Japan, and asked if he could come along, agreeing to pay his own expenses when we do go next summer.
Unfortunately, Mom had forgotten to pack this forehead-light during all the confusion of getting ready to head out. Brian had agreed at some point during our visit to check out Suzune Magica, after I specified its two-volume difference from Kazumi, but obviously wasn't gonna read it when it was already too dark to bother. Not sure if he would have even if we had packed it, though.
