Gave Brian Puella Magi Oriko Magica for Christmas, but suggested he save it for until he goes back, and just read Kazumi or Suzune for the time being, since I can't send those back up with him.

Recently, Mom and Dad got a BB pistol somewhere, so as to scare squirrels away whenever they invade our birdfeeder. Mom accidentally shot one of the feeder's glass panes some few weeks ago, and Dad had since been putting a new feeder together, to finally present for Christmas this year (concealed under one of our couch blankets, after I helped bring it inside when Mom was back asleep).

Brian and Grandma spent most of the day watching Northern Exposure, in such a shrunken, sped-up state as would bypass YouTube's copyright-protection measures. No one else minds, but it just seems weird to watch something artificially fast-paced that's meant to be relaxing, and for the most part, I would rather dig around online for any given show than settle for whatever butchery YouTube has to offer.

Mom also brought me and Grandma to the beach, but it was so windy that all she did was take a picture of us on the sand. Brian was asleep, and had already declined earlier to go, so not much of a loss for him.

And, instead of the usual roast beef, Yorkshire puddings, etc., Mom had bought Indian food to take home from The Curry Club.
